How long does an annual shareholders' meeting last? |

The official part of the annual shareholders' meeting usually lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. Following the official part, an aperitif offered by the company will be served. |

Who can attend an annual shareholders' meeting? |

Only shareholders of Walter Meier are permitted to attend the annual shareholders' meeting. |

Can I bring someone with me? |

Unfortunately not. Only shareholders are permitted to attend the annual shareholders' meeting. |

How and when will I receive an invitation? |
|
Shareholders, who are registered in the share register, will be sent a personal invitation by mail 20 days prior to the annual shareholders' meeting. |

Can I have someone represent me at the annual shareholders' meeting? |
|
Yes. In the event that you are unable to attend the annual shareholders' meeting in person, you can be represented as follows: a) by another shareholder entitled to vote b) by a representative officer from Walter Meier c) by an independent representative d) by your custodian bank. |

How do I delegate my voting rights to another shareholder? |
|
You order your admission card with the reply coupon enclosed with the invitation. Fill in and sign the power of attorney on the back of your admission card and send it together with the voting documents directly to the shareholder entitled to vote. |

How do I delegate my voting rights to the representative officer? |
|
If you return the signed reply coupon enclosed with the invitation without voting instructions, the representative officer will exercise your voting rights in line with all Board proposals. |

What is a representative officer? |
|
The representative officer ist either a member of the Walter Meier corporation or an independent person otherwise appointed by her to represent the company and entitled to exercise her right to vote in line with all Board proposals. |

How do I delegate my voting rights to an independent representative? |
|
Sign the reply coupon enclosed with the invitation and submit it directly to the independent representative. On a separate form, which is also enclosed for this purpose, you can include exact voting instructions for each item on the agenda. In the absence of voting instructions, the representative will exercise his rights to vote in line with all Board proposal. |

What is an independent representative? |
|
If a company - listed on the stock exchange like Walter Meier - designates a representative officer, they must also designate an "independent person whose representation can be authorized by the shareholders" (article 689c of the Swiss Code of Obligations). The independent representative exercises the voting right as prescribed by the written voting instructions. |

What happens if I arrive late? |
|
Admission will still be granted. |
